Apocalypse Pow is a dance punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Sometimes political, always rock, their guitar bites and addictive rhythms bring together the frenetic qualities of punk rock and the dance-ability of new wave.
The band is comprised of former members of Richmond's screamo favorites The Exploder and The Medium. Wadi, Richmond's bi-weekly newspaper, raves that A.P. conjures "the coolest dance party you were never invited to."
The band has garnered attention from a song featured in the "Day By Day" series of skate videos as well as past and curruent touring. Their first EP, "Smash The Superstation," is now available from Pop Faction Records.
