"All The Way To Hell"
(Sin Klub)

Highbinder Indie pop with arena rock connotation doesn't get much better than this Midwest four piece, emerging from the dank residue of Toledo's punk underbelly. With this debut, the band's inventive sonic undertow connects neo-Sabbath chords to STP meat and potatoes cock rock, adding copious amounts of melody to give listeners something to hum along to as they bang their heads. Plus, the production talent of Randy Wilson (Thessalonian Dop Gods, Puerot Muerto, Liz Phair) scours down the band's sharp edges here, bringing hooks to the forefront while maintaining guitar grit and hard punching drums. Sure, "All The Way To Hell's" ironies certainly aren't subtle, but they undoubtedly bear the ring of truth, carrying it through tales of shattered passions, two faced creeds, and our annoying populace of idiots. Thus far, our heroes have upped the regional ante, supporting acts as diverse as Stereomod, The PB Army, Lazy American Workers, Jackyl and Sponge.
