The new album "Nine" is complete. It's produced by Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Hatesphere) and the result is amazing, and will undoubtedly suprise a lot of people. It's still the Platitude concept. Catchy chorus lines, focused on the instrumental parts, but it's a bit more progressive, more alive, more feeling. But, it's not really a change, more like evolution. The neo classical metal of the debut album is more or less gone, except of course the solos (keyboards & guitars)) and in its place is a wonderful mixture of melodic metal and some more progressive parts. Swedish artwork designer Mattias Noren worked hard at creating a masterpiece of a cover. The Japanese release (King Records) will feature the bonus track "Supernova."
