The Glasspack

"Bridgeburner"
(Small Stone Records)

The Glasspack If you think you know The Glasspack, then forget everything you know because Louisville's least favorite sons are back and they're ready to up the antein a little game we like to call dirty ass American rock 'n' roll. The Pack (as fans know them) have stacked the deck for this their third full length album, "Bridgeburner." The guitars are louder and there's more of them. The vocals are nastier. The rhythm section hits harder than a hurricane. And then you get to track two.

Looking back, it all began in early 1999 in the mind of frontman and songwriter Dirty Dave Johnson. The Pack spent the better part of 1999 and 2000 honing their skills on the road and in the studio. In early 2001, The Glasspack released their first full length CD "American Exhaust" followed quickly by their Small Stone debut "Powderkeg" in 2002. With much critical praise the band returned to the road leaving a trail of destruction in their wake wherever they landed.

Since the very begining, The Glasspack have worked their fingers to the fretboard earning themselves a reputation for their powerfuland frenzied live performances. "Bridgeburner" only further cements their reputation in the annuls of rock and roll history. With contributions from Phil Durr of Big Chief as well as Ed Mundell and Bobby Pantella from Monster Magnet, this record is heavier and hits harder than anything the boys have done to date...and that includes live shows.
