ADZ
"American Steel"

The ADZ
have a long history in the L.A. punk scene. Tony was a founding member
of the Adolecents, Abandoned and the Flower Leperds. Bruce, a member
of 45 Grave, Twisted Roots, Bug Lamp, Jeff Dahl Group and Jesters Of
Destiny. George, a founding member of Sacred Hatred and Bonecrusher.
Mike, a founding member of Flipside Magazine and Pasadena darlings Crome-Moly
Violets (the rest of whom are now in The Urinals). Collectively, they
have released more than 50 albums. Both Bruce and Tony have long histories
as fanzine writers, though Bruce has been able to turn this folly into
something resembling true journalism. There is not a single credible
L.A. musicology or rock history book that does not include footnote,
interviews and references with these two music geeks sprinkled throughout.
The music written by this collective has been used in film, television
and other entertainment media throughout the world. In other words,
they have a good shelf life. "American Steel" is the sixth full release
by ADZ.
