Harmful

"Sanguine"
(SPV Records)

Harmful Harmful are not the new "wild guys" who've just jumped on the bandwagon of the latest rock hype. They have been working on their very own design of rock music somewhere between Unsane, Helmet and Noise for some ten years. "Sanguine" is the fifth album release by the trio from Frankfurt, Germany and their first on SPV/Hunter. Another cornerstone in the mountain range of rock. No nu-metal, no emo, no garage. But, 12 tracks of intensity, anger and power, yet also full of melodies, pain and bitter sweetness. The trio's songs were produced by Guido Lucas (Blackmail, Waterdown, Scumbucket) again, who has accompanied the band since their eponymously titled debut.

After four high profile records, SPV now releases "Sanguine." The songs themselves are harmful's strongest to date. Diverse, dynamic, rooted in grooves you could drive a truck through.
