Pissing Razors

"Evolution"
(Spitfire Records)

Pissing Razors Recorded earlier this year, "Evolution" is the band's 5th album and first studio recording to feature new vocalist Andre Acosta. Full on, balls out aggression has been the calling card of Pissing Razors throughout their successful five year career. While comparisons to Skinlab, Machine Head and Pantera are well earned, the Razors' unrelenting, high fueled riff attack has kept them on the cutting edge at all times. With "Evolution," Pissing Razors have written a venomous and pit ready collection of new songs that is sure to see a continued increase in their already impressive popularity.

Pissing Razors released their self titled debut in 1998. "Cast Down The Plague" and the popular "Fields Of Disbelief" followed in 1999 and 2000 respectively. Touring has been integral to the band's longevity. Their strong presence on stage has made them not only a fan and critic favorite, but their professional and positive attitude has made them a popular choice amongst bands and agents on package tours that have become popular over the past few years.

Signing to Spitfire Records, Pissing Razors released "Where We Came From" in 2001. The nucleus of drummer Eddie Garcia and bassist Rick Vallez grounded the album's personally inspired lyrics. The album received solid critical acclaim around the world and continues to sell well to date. The band's first live album, "Live From The Devil's Triangle," was released late 2002. Shortly after, the band started work on material that would become "Evolution." Breaking in new guitarist Matt Difabio (also of Single Bullet Theory) on a nationwide tour earlier this year, Pissing Razors continue to prove to all that they are a band dedicated to their craft.
