DIAMOND REXX
"THE EVIL"
(Crash Music)

Back in the early 90's, the harder, darker side of Chicago gave life to Diamond Rexx, a band that was not afraid to show you the darker side of themselves. Songs of sex, drugs, life and death, street fighting and everyday reality made this band stand apart from the 90's metal scene. Signed to Island Records, the band was on a wild ride...through radio, MTV, topping international charts, world tours and the dark pathways of their minds, they infected you with an addiction that kept you coming back for more.

Times changed and the music went in other directions. Diamond Rexx took a self imposed hiatus. However, as everything is bound to do, the tide has shifted and heavy rock is once again taking over the airwaves. Watching this progression, Diamond Rexx felt the calling to return to their own brand of heavy handed rock. February 2001, the band reunited and found that the spell of Diamond Rexx has never been broken. Matured, with a clean, clear focus, the band recorded "The Evil" over the summer of 2002. Adult web cam model, Raven, adorns the cover of the new Rexx CD, which was recorded at Pumpkin Studios. Studio owner Gary Loizzo (Styx) co-produced the project with Crash Music's Mark Nawara. With the groundswell of hard edged rock breaking through, the world is ready for the return of Diamond Rexx. Their reality based, hard and true songs will strike a place deep within the rock fan who will revel in the resurgence of Diamond Rexx.
