UNEARTH |

Unearth have "unearthed" a can of whoop ass here! They take all the best
elements of hardcore and thrash metal and put 'em all together into
one skull crushing package! They are like Slayer, Pantera, and Pro Pain,
all rolled together into one! There is the speed and aggression of both
styles, with the more complex elements of metal, and the pure raw energy
of hardcore. A blistering musical package! Their music is very
aggressive, fast, furious, and raw, and hits you right between the eyes
like a TKO from Rocky Balboa! There is also a touch of sophistication in
their music, just like in classic thrash metal. The band features the
double axe team of Ken Susi and Buz McGrath, who blitz across their
fret boards, and appear to be graduates of the King/Hanneman school of
guitar playing, balancing sophistication and aggression, and playing up
a storm! The whole band is a tight musical unit, and singer Trevor
Phipps sings like he's wearing a mouse trap between his legs (I mean
that in a good way)! These guys take no prisoners! Unearth are not a
band for the faint of heart!
