"Audio Manifesto"

(2002 Peaceville Records)

by Jym Harris

Wow, an industrial band that (suprisingly enough) doesn't sound exactly like Nine Inch Nails! In fact, by the time track three rolled around, even the Manson element had turned into Kid Rock. The mollow parts of the disc were dark & atmospheric while the heavier areas showed hints of KMFDM. Vocally, they jump back & forth between a whispery baratone and melodic layers of harmonies. The Rammstein-esque "tongues" was probably my favorite track. Yet the most eyebrow raising of all was the poisonflow mix of "Angels Kiss" closing the album with some unexpected female vocals. Go to www.soundisciples.com for more info on the three-piece outfit. They went through alot to get this CD done so give it a listen.
