Axenstar"Far From Heaven" Banding together back in 1998 under the name Powerage, the Swedish heavy metal act Axenstar was born. With a couple of demos under their belt,2001 came and they changed their name to Axenstar. The second album comes at you full force. Incredible song writing and production. As far as melodic power metal goes, this release is what it's all about. Recorded at Underground Studios and mastered by Peter In de Betou(Hypocrisy, Amon Amarth). Far From Heaven is an excellent release. Hefty galloping and bombarding guitars engulf each track. There's not many bands in this genre that truly stand out. Axenstar is one of them. So if progressive power metal is your forte, Far From Heaven is for you. For all others, go ahead, give it a listen. For fans of Helloween, Hammerfall, Fifth Angel. |
