Lee Rocker

"Bullet Proof"

(33rd Street Records)

by: Paul Autry

Former Stray Cat Lee Rocker is out struttin' on his own with "Bulletproof," a fourteen song album that has him playing the kind of music that he loves. That music just happens to be a style that people like to call rockabilly. I don't listen to this style of music on a regular basis and it's been years since I've heard The Stray Cats stuff. So, I really don't have anything to compare this to. But, I guess that doesn't really matter since the music is strong enough to stand by itself. It's got a good production, which makes this release really stand out. You can crank it up to the max and really enjoy yourself. It's upbeat music that'll put a smile on your face and keep your toes tapping. So, be sure to check it out if this sounds like your cup of tea. http://www.leerocker.com
