Don Mancuso"D Drive" Why can't the music industry put out more quality music such as this? I mean, sure, maybe it's just a regular old rock album. But, it's absolutely fantastic. I have a very short attention span and it's very rare for me to find an album that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track here or there. When I throw this one in the CD player, I just let it play because I wanna hear every song. That's why I wouldn't even begin to pick out a song or two and say they're stand out tracks. Listen to the album as a whole for a much better experience. I don't know too much about Don Mancuso other than what I've read here and there. But, it's clear to me that this is a guy who's not out to prove anything. He doesn't have to do anything special to get your attention. A good song is more than enough to do that and this release has thirteen of 'em. You can't beat it. On top of that, you've got Lou Gramm and Phil Naro on vocal duties, two men who have simply been making some great music for as long as I can remember. Good songs, talented/seasoned performers, I don't know what more you could possibly want in an album. If you're the kind of person who would like to have their cake and eat it too...pick up a copy of this release. 'Nuff said! |
