HATE THEORY

Trinity
(World War III)

by: Paul Hanson

Ah, death metal played from the gut, with pain, anquish, and brutality oozing from their collective misery that life sucks, life is unfair, and their own existence is a drudgery. Why not form a band and spread the drudgery with a vocalist that should be fired, point-blank, into unemployment? Listen guys - - you have some great musical ideas, but this theory, that Hate Theory should be the band to combine Cradle of Filth-ish screeching and Cannibal Corpse growls . . . it's not a good theory. It wears on a listener pretty quickly. It gets annoying pretty quick after an hour. While I embrace this band's vision that brutal music is the best way to exert their aggressions, and I embrace the band's music in the beginning of "Vent", the vocalist has to go. Period.
