INCANTATION |

I am impressed. This is by far the best CD Incantation has put out in
years. Every one of the 12 cuts is brilliant. John McIntyre and Company
have reached a pinnacle. There are few constants in life, and as long as
one of my favorite death metal bands continues to produce great music,
I'll have at least one thing I can rely on. American death metal is not
dead!!! "Crown of Decayed Salvation" is my favorite piece. I love the
Medieval, slow dirges in the middle of the song, then the blast beats,
and back to the dirges. "Rotting with your christ" is equally excellent!
It's probably the angriest song on the album, perfect when getting
pissed off at pacifists. "Deceiver (Self-Righteous Betrayer)" could
apply to any religion, but seems to fit nicely when talking about islam.
"I envision this holy land, Smothered with your deceit." Any belief in a
god-form is subject to ridicule, as far as Incantation is concerned.
