My Fate"Happiness Is Fiction" Sometimes I wonder if the country of Finland has any bands that suck. The latest to come from there, My Fate, with the average band member age of 19 years old, are pretty damn good. A very talented young group. My Fate are Vilho Rajala - drums, Mikko Lehtinen - guitars, Antti Ojanen - vocals, Jaakko Jarvensivu - guitars and Roope Lehtinen - bass. Their sound is an aggressive, yet melodic death metal sound with some death-core elements thrown in the mix. Very heavy driving tunes. Very reminiscent of Fear Factory. Especially in the melodic moments of the songs. Recorded and mixed by Henkka Wirsell at Fantom Studios, the production of this disk is excellent. Dark and powerful lyrics to coincide with the dark and powerful sound that flows thru the speakers. Well worth checking out. |
