Susperia

Holy cow!!! This being the third release from Norway's Susperia, is nothing short of a 10. Heavy, trash sounding guitars with a precise intricacy that leaves you in awe. They have a death/thrash metal tone to them. There are many points on the disk that makes me think of Testament. Ripping solos and memorable melodies. Understandable, heavy vocals. This ranks up there among one of the best cds I've heard in a long time. You can almost feel the musical chemistry flowing through each track. Susperia are a very talented band, this is for sure. Their sound has progressed since their first two ventures. Not in a bad way mind you. Stand out tracks are ," Chemistry, The Coming Past, Situational Awareness, Devil May Care, Off The Grid, Years Of Infinity, Home Sweet Hell, Mind Apart, Beast By Design, Untouched". Yea, that's all of them. A refreshing sound all their own. Great artwork also. Remember the name Susperia now, cause if you don't you'll regret it down the road. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.
