Jagermeister Music Tour 2003October 28, Murat Theater, Indianapolis, IN
SWORN ENEMY hits the stage right on schedule. They belt out a few tunes to start things out which only lasts about fifteen minutes. As 'The Anthem's of Rebellion' wage on, here comes ARCH ENEMY. For the first time witnessing , I'd have to say they were flawless. With Angela's scorching vocals and the Amott brothers intricate solos, their six song set, comprising of such songs as 'Dead Eyes See No Future, We Will Rise , and Heart of Darkness', only left you (me) wanting more.
SLAYER'S set consisted of many past and present favorites. From 'Hell Awaits, God Hates Us All, South Of Heaven', as well as others. SLAYER does what they do best. Prove that they're still the heaviest on the planet. Taking a few moments out to thank everyone for the past twenty years and a big hail to Jagermeister for making this tour possible. Finishing off the night with what I would call the ultimate encore. Song for song. One right after the other. The entire album of 'Reign in Blood'. So if you happen to be near a town hosting the Jagermeister Music Tour, featuring SLAYER, check it out. You won't be dissapointed. |
