Merciless After nine long years, one of Sweden's first death/thrash metal acts are back. Stronger and louder than ever. Yep, that's what it says. And so they are. The DVD here is much like most that are out there today. Typical format for Escapi Entertainment. One disk contains a live performance. Captured live on May 27th 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden. Excellent footage and production. Great sound quality. Track list for the show : 'The Awakening, Unearthly Salvation, Cleansed By Fire, Dying World, Branded By Sunlight, Realm Of The Dark, In Your Blood, Pure Hate, Violent Obsession, Souls Of The Dead, Unbound and Cold Eyes Of Grey.' A great band and a wonderful performance. Merciless are back. Back to thrash you fucking head clean off. Disk two has the usual band interview segments with some goofy member antics as well as plenty of promo pics and videos. Also more concert footage with some from Hultsfred festival in 2003. Very cool package. If you're into the death/thrash genres and are unfamiliar with Merciless, wait no more. Go get this. Highly recommended. |
