The Murder City Devils Here you get 58 minutes of a day in the life of one of Seattle's most notorious bands, The Murder City Devils. In depth interviews, live performances, rare backstage footage. It's all here. This has more of a "real" documentary feel to it. So many DVD's these days say they come with a documentary disk, and it's nothing but more live footage, and not much else. A good job goes out to James Bazan and Jeff Baker. To be honest here, I was a bit unfamiliar with the band before I watched the disk. I must say that I am now much impressed with the band. Not that my words add up to two shits about a particular band, but I hope if you yourself have not had an ear shot of The Murder City Devils, look 'em up. They are a highly energetic blend of rock with a slight punk edge. |
