Voivod Well here's one that I've overlooked. Well one of two on the DVD list. And what a gem this one is for their fans. As well as anyone into metal that wants to witness to magic created by one of the most original and influential metal bands known to man. This DVD contains the original line-up period (1983-1991). Snake, Piggy, Blacky and Away. It features all the '80's videos, plus rare live and studio performances with plenty of extras. You know the photo gallery, artwork, demos ect… The videos are: "Ripping Headaches(1986), VOIVOD(1984), Ravenous Medicine(1987), Tribal Convictions(1988), Psychic Vacuum(1988) and Astronomy Domine(1989). There are several live shots from '86-'91. Anywhere from two to four songs from each performance all very well recorded. A very cool look back into the history of a truly unique metal band who helped shape the metal genre in the '80's. |
