Joe and Jan are foster parents and from time to time they get a phone call asking if they can temporarily take in an infant. While newborn adoptions are processed the court needs to have a home where they can safely place the baby. Since this is a rare occurrence, instead of having extra things to store this couple uses a baby equipment rental company when they get this call. After the child is adopted and placed in its permanent home the supplies are picked up.
