| Jasper J. : Please introduce your current lineup to our readers. A.N. : Our current lineup is: Silvio Herrera, vocals, Mauricio Belalcazar, guitars, Andres Mora, bass, Fabian Aguirre, drums. Jasper J. : How long has the group been in existence? A.N. : Angel Negro was founded in February 1991. It has suffered some changes since then. Jasper J. : In your own words, briefly describe your band's sound & influence. A.N. : The band has been characterized with an intense thrash/death sound, guttery voices & some grind play. Our influences have been: Slayer, Black Sabbath, Napalm Death, Ozzy Osbourne, Kreator, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Metallica & our own influence. Jasper J. : Name some bands in which you've shared the stage or opened for. A.N. : We've shared the stage with Colombian bands like Atrium, Neurosis, Infect, Agony, Inquisiton, Acutor, Massacre, Lluvia Negra, Bellial & others. From Ecujador with bands like: Nemesis, Basca, Incarnatus, Matansa, Fear & others. Jasper J. : Does your band have an independent CD, demo or video available? A.N. : We have a tape that was made in 1994 called "Sala 8," with six songs produced by Antiphonal Records, Colorado, U.S.A. and a CD called "Guillain Barre" produced by Angel Negro. We also have a video clip with live sound from the song "Guerras y Gerreros." Jasper J. : What is the current scene like in your local area? A.N. : Each time our audience is getting bigger & bigger...everybody is tuning into our sound. We've had a very positive reaction from the audience. The local scene area is good. Jasper J. : What are your long & short term goals and plans? A.N. : Our short term plans are to get a label & be able to record our next CD & to be able to perfrom in many more concerts. We want to continue to evolve as a group. Our long term plans are that our dreams come true. Jasper J. : Any last words?
